may borrow passes at the Library circulation desk. With your
library card, you can borrow selected Museum
and Park passes for 1 day to (Note: Maine State Parks pass has a 3-day checkout period.)
Maine Wildlife Park
The Friends of the Scarborough Public Library offer a special pass enabling our patrons to visit the Maine Wildlife Park. Check with the library for pass details.
Children's Museum & Theater of Maine
This pass entitles one bearer per day to a 50% discount on admission for up to four people. The discounted fee for library membership admission will be $5 per person starting on July 1st.
Portland Museum of Art
Two adults or
a family of 2 adults with children
under 18 to visit at no cost.
Maine State Parks
Over 700,000 acres of Maine's natural and cultural resources are managed by the Bureau of Parks and Lands. Conservation easements and leases bring the total land area managed to over 2 million acres. With a Maine State Park Pass, you can visit state parks and historic sites without paying day-use fees (entrance fees). The Maine State Park Pass is for day use-use only and does not include camping. However, if you are camping at one of our 12 campgrounds, the day-use fee is included in the camping fee.
